KARACHI (Dunya News) – Electricity meters of a residential building early Saturday morning caught fire in Karachi Gulistan-e-Johar area and were extinguished after an hour by the Fire Brigade.
According to officials of the Fire Brigade, the blaze started due to an electrical short circuiting which quickly engulfed the neighbouring meters.
The accident caused explosions which terrified local residents of the building.
On the other hand, a speeding car lost control and crashed into cars parked on the side of the road and skidded onto a footpath.
Police say two individuals were injured in the accident.
