LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Shahbaz Sharif said on Saturday that government will built 25000 low-cost houses for poor every year, reported Dunya News.

According to the details, an agreement was signed between Punjab Government and Turkish Housing Development Administration in Lahore. According to the agreement, Turkey will provide assistance for construction of low-cost housing schemes in Punjab. Punjab government will start work with the assistance of Turkish Authority on construction of twenty five thousand low cost houses in province during one year. During a meeting with Turkish President of Housing Development Administration Mehmet Erdogan, Shahbaz Sharif welcomed the technical assistance from Turkey in Housing sector in the province.

Army Chief General Raheel Sharif has reached Turkey for a 3-day official visit to Turkey on Monday. Wreath laying was held at Kamal Attaturk’s tomb. General Raheel Sharif said that Pakistan-Turkey relationship has survived the test of time, reported Dunya News.

According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Army Chief General Raheel Sharif has reached Turkey for 3-day visit. General Raheel was presented Guard of Honor by Turkish Land Forces.


Army Chief laid flower wreaths at the tomb of Turkish leader Mustafa Kamal Attaturk. General Raheel met with chief of Turkish Land Forces, General Salih Zeki Colak, and discussed matters of mutual interest including eradication of terrorism from both countries.

Both Army chiefs discussed measures to counter Improvised Explosive Devices (IED), cooperation in sharing of intelligence and in that of counter-terrorism training during the meeting.
