Summary Family of child protested with dead body on Abdullah Chowk that blocked Jaranwala Road for traffic
FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – A crane at flyover construction site at Jhal Cowk Faisalabad killed a 9-year old on Saturday, reported Dunya News.
According to details, 9-year old Nauman was playing near a flyover construction site when he got hit by a crane and got severely injured. Rescue workers shifted the child to the hospital but he could not sustain the injuries and lost his life. The family of the child protested with the body on Abdullah Chowk that blocked Jaranwala Road for the traffic. Police said that they have started the investigation and the crane operator will be punished according to law. One hour long protest ended after the successful dialogue of family with police.

A person, father of five, was crushed to death by a dumper at construction site of Orange Line Train in Baghbanpura area of Lahore on Saturday, Dunya News reported.
35-year-old Azeem was returning his home in Salamatpura area when he was hit by a dumper near Daroghawala Chowk and died on the spot. The deceased was a cloth seller.
Brother of the victim told media that his family has suffered second tragic incident this month in the same area. Azeem’s 23-year-old cousin Ashfaq also lost his life and his wife sustained injuries when a truck busy on the construction site hit his motorcycle.
Family members placed victim’s body outside Shalimar Police Station to protest against the incident.
