KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Farooq H. Naik has on Sunday said that he consulted former President Asif Ali Zardari about the legal aspects of the extension of Rangers’ powers in Sindh but they haven’t yet decided to move courts against it, reported Dunya News.

The issue of the extension of Rangers’ powers has not yet been resolved between Sindh and federal governments. Farooq Naik arrived in Dubai upon PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari’s invitation and discussed the extension in detail.

Talking to Dunya News, Farooq Naik told that the meeting discussed the legal aspects of the extension given to Rangers’ powers in Sindh. He told that Zardari was briefed about the legal options available regarding the extension. He said that the consultations have been made but no decision has yet been reached to move court against the extension. He said that he also discussed other political, legal and administrative matters with Zardari during the meeting.
