Another attempted murder accused escapes from LHC premises
In the last two months, more than 17 criminals have absconded
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Court hearings have become an escape strategy for criminals as another attempted murder accused managed to abscond after rejection of interim bail plea.
Police presented a murder accused before the Lahore High Court (LHC). After the court rejected his bail plea, neither the police nor the investigation officer handcuffed the alleged murderer and let him escape.
This is not the first time when an accused has escaped from the court premises. In the last two months, more than 17 criminals have absconded from court premises after their interim bail pleas were turned down.
The culprits were apprehended in different crimes including drugs smuggling, open brawl and attempted murder.
However, the police authorities and the courts have not taken any action against the law enforcers responsible.
