Floodwaters have entered Jati, a city of Thatta district while the water tide coming from Shahdadkot is just some kilometers away from Khairpur and Nathan Shah, Dunya News reported on Thursday. A crack in a canal near Dadu resulted into submersion of several villages. Around 0.2million residents of Shah Bundar and Jati have been shifted to safe places in view of the fast reaching flood wave. According to Irrigation Department, inflow in Kotri Barrage has been reduced to 776,000 cusecs whereas water in Guddu and Sukkur Barrages is also in downward trend.
