LAHORE (Dunya News) – Relatives of slain woman and man staged a protest at Defence chowk in Lahore while placing bodies on the road.
The protesters blocked main Defence Road and chanted slogans against the police personnel.
They alleged area’s Station House Officer (SHO) of providing shelter to the suspects and demanded stern action against the criminals. They further warned to continue protest until the authorities nab the suspects.
Meanwhile, the protest also badly affected flow of traffic, irking local residents.
According to the details, an exchange of firing was taken place between two colony’s groups that claimed lives of passersby Yousaf and Shamim.
The dead bodies were taken to the hospital where they were handed over to the bereaved family after post mortem.
Police officers failed to reach on time while the personnel have also not taken any one into the custody so far.
