Rehman resolves to restore Karachi peace

Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik has reiterated governments resolve to restore Karachi peace at any cost. Talking to media after presiding over a high-level meeting in Karachi on Monday, Rehman said that Nadras fast photo cameras would be installed at all the entry and exit points of the city to check the miscreants movement. Action would be taken against all mafias belonging to any party, Malik said. He also called upon media to float suggestions to stop targeted killing in the metropolis. Replying to a question, Rehman denied trust deficit between NGOs and the government. He thanked the Saudi government for the aid and added that rehabilitation and reconstruction of the flood affectees is top priority of the government. Replying to a question on spot fixing by Pakistani cricketers, Rehman said that the players brought bad name to the nation. Regarding fake relief camps, the minister said that 3 teams have been constituted to check such camps.
