ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Schedule for the local body elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KP) have on Friday been announced. Polling will be held on 4491 seats on January 23, 2016, reported Dunya News.
According to the schedule announced by election commission, the nomination papers will be accepted for local body by-elections in KP on 16th and 17th of December, 2015. Scrutiny will be held on 22nd and 23rd of December. The appeals against Returning Officers’ decisions will be heard on 24th and 25th of December while the appeals will be decided between 26th and 20th of December.
The candidates will be allowed to withdraw their nomination papers by December 31 and the final list of candidates will be put up for display on January 31.
