Summary The natives only demanded early reconstruction of roads and provision of basic facilitates
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Dilapidated roads and parks in Karachi’s Gulshan Iqbal East Zone have badly irked the locals as issues intensified in the metropolis.
The Karachiites stated that the illicit occupation of parks by some qabza group, pits and cracks on roads and the streets turning into junkyards have disrupted the way of living in Gulshan Iqbal.

They lashed out at the local government by saying that no one had ever tried to resolve their matters after the general elections of 2013. They said that the leaders only demand votes but when it comes to serve the nation, they start making lame excuses and promises.

The citizens further told that the water dearth has made our lives hell but the district administration is not working on this issue.

They said that the parks have been locked due to formation of nurseries in front of main gates which is illegal and needs attention of the authorities.
Moreover, the inhabitants only demanded early reconstruction of roads and provision of basic facilitates when the candidates of local bodies came to them for votes.
The metropolis will hold third and last phase of local bodies election on December 5.
