ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif will start his 3-day visit to Malta on 27th of November. PM will visit Malta to participate in the meeting of Commonwealth, reported Dunya News.

According to the details, Commonwealth countries’ meeting is held every two years and this time it is being held in Malta. PM’s official tour will start from Friday. The topic of current meeting is ‘Climate Change and Global Sustainability’. The issues like extremism, terrorism, progress targets and refugees will also be discussed during the conference.

A special session on climate change will also be held in the conference. The next General Secretary of Commonwealth will also be elected this year for the tenure of next four years. PM Nawaz Sharif will attend dinner parties thrown by Queen of Britain and PM Malta where he will discuss bilateral and international issues.

Pakistan refused to show flexibility on Kashmir issue as it decided to postpone Commonwealth Conference over the invitation of assembly of Occupied Jammu & Kashmir on Thursday, reported Dunya News.

Talking during a press conference, Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq said that Pakistan will not back down on Kashmir issue. He said that Pakistan has made it clear to the London secretariat that if the issue of inviting the assembly of Occupied Jammu & Kashmir is pressed then Pakistan will not host the Commonwealth Conference.

It should be kept in mind that Pakistan was to host the Commonwealth Conference for the first time from 29 September to 8 October in Islamabad.

Talking about resignations of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Ayaz Sadiq said that the decision would be taken according to law, constitution and the decision of High Court. He said that he will write a book on the resignations tendered by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and MQM in which he will explain how the both parties asked him not to accept the resignations.
