RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shahbaz Sharif on Wednesday has taken notice of teacher’s torture on a six-year-old student in Rawalpindi.

The incident took place in Rawalpindi s local school when an implacable teacher brutally beaten up schoolgirl Moneeba with a stick having nail on it that severely wounded her hand. The teacher assaulted the student for not learning the lesson.

CM Punjab stongly condemned the act and summoned report from Rawalpindi Commissioner as early as possible. He said that education with physical of mental torture is deplorable and needs to get addressed.

Separately in Jhang’s native area Chatta Baksha, a strange punishment was witnessed in a school when nearly about 200 children’s head were shaved for not revising the lecture. The teacher also kept all the students outside the class as a part of the punishment.

The students staged a protest inside the school and urged the authorities to take stern action against the teacher.

Meanwhile, the Executive District Officer (EDO) Education Zahid Naseem showed ignorance towards the incident.
