ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif said on Monday that operation Zarb-e-Azb will be taken to its logical conclusion. During his meeting with Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, PM appreciated the role of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) against terrorism, reported Dunya News.
According to the details, PM said that PAF has done great service in Pakistan’s war against terrorism and has shown great professional skills. He said that government of Pakistan, along with Pakistan Army will eliminate terrorists from every part of the country.

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Tuesday said that practical steps are required to manage Pak-Afghan borders for gainful conclusion of operation Zarb-e-Azb.
He gave these remarks while addressing the Central South Asia Security Conference in Marshal Centre in Munich, Germany.
The conference discussed regional peace and security with special focus on perpetual instability in Afghanistan.
Addressing the participants, General Raheel Sharif said that Afghan instability had telling effects on the region. He stressed on all stake holders to revive reconciliation process.
He said: "Despite hurdles, peace and reconciliation are of vital importance for larger settlement in Afghanistan."
He further highlighted that the regional instability has deeply affected socio-eco climate in Pakistan.
“A peaceful Afghanistan can open regional connectivity,” he said.
The Army Chief expressed that benefits of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project can be shared which is essential for socio-economic development of Pakistan to address menace of extremism.
General Raheel Sharif s visit to Germany comes just a day after Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif met German Chancellor Angela Merkel on the sidelines of the 70th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Merkel appreciated progress made by Pakistan in its efforts to counter terrorism and acknowledged the nation s contribution towards regional peace and stability.
