MULTAN (Dunya News) – National volunteers in Multan protested against the government on Sunday for not receiving their salaries.
According to details, the protesters while staging the demonstration in Shamsabad area refused to perform their duties during third phase of local body elections.
The volunteers stated that they were recruited by the government on Rs200 monthly however; they have not been paid from the last ten months due to which more than 1000 volunteers have left the job.
