Governor Taseer joins 'Dunya Operation Room'

On the third day of a special telethon of Dunya News on the deluge, Governor Taseer briefed the people on relief and rehabilitation efforts across the province. Dunya News has kicked off a special transmission to express solidarity with the flood-afflicted people on Sunday. The special transmission titled as Dunya Operation Room: Agay Barho Dunya Apke Sath Hai would be attended by high profile people from all the 5 provinces to apprise the viewers of the relief and rescue efforts besides the rehabilitation being carries out in the flood-torn areas across Pakistan. On the first day, Chief Minister Punjab and his Pakhtun counterpart Amir Haider Hoti attended the transmission while Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah joined it on the second day.
