Hyderabad: Presiding officer arrested for tempering ballot paper seal
Presiding Officer was freed by the RO due to inconclusive evidence of his involvement in the case.
HYDERABAD (Dunya News) – A presiding officer named Muhammad Tayyab appointed in Hyderabad’s Union Council number 34 was arrested Wednesday night for tempering with the envelope seal of the ballot paper.
Police was called in on the scene after people of the area learned of the incident. Police took alleged culprit Tayyab into custody and presented him to the concerned Returning Officer (RO) However, the Presiding Officer was freed by the RO due to inconclusive evidence of his involvement in the case.
