Summary PM Nawaz Sharif has ordered to speed up the underway projects, assures CM Punjab.

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shahbaz Sharif on Monday has stated that the Punjab government will complete maximum energy projects till the end of 2017, Dunya News reported. 

While talking to elected representatives in Lahore, CM told that the incumbent government is ardently taking steps in resolving the matters of general masses. He said addressing the reservations of nation is the first priority of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

Shahbaz Sharif said that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has ordered to speed up the underway projects and has taken sincere measures for the benefit of citizens.

We will complete maximum energy projects till the end of 2017, he added.

Moreover, the CM directed the authorities to be prepared for the further development in the projects.

In his speech at the ground-breaking ceremony of the Bhikki Power project last month, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that his government was working hard to overcome the shortage of electricity and end loadshedding by 2018.

He said the government’s objective was not only to overcome the shortage of electricity but also to reduce its cost.

 

Solving Pakistan’s energy crisis was a key campaign pledge for Nawaz Sharif in the run-up to the 2013 general election, and the shortage is heaping fresh pressure on his government.
