ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif inaugurated construction work on Gojra-Shorkot section of Faisalabad-Multan Motorway M-4 today (Monday).
The sixty two kilometers section is another milestone in upgrading and decongesting the country s overburdened transport infrastructure.
It will reduce cost and time from textile producing hub Faisalabad to Multan which is a major trade centre in Southern Punjab.
Besides this it will also provide better travel facilities to the people of Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh and Jhang.
The fifty-eight kilometers Faisalabad-Gojra section of M-4 has already been completed with the assistance of Asian Development Bank and opened to traffic since March this year.
