ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar on Sunday said that human trafficking is the second largest cause of maligning of Pakistan abroad after terrorism, Dunya News reported.
Directing the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to prepare a strategy against human smugglers in 48 hours, Ch Nisar summoned a meeting on Tuesday.
According to details, the federal minister expressed the determination to end human trafficking. He said in a statement that human traffickers are a black spot on Pakistan and humanity.
Nisar said this menace has to be rooted out in any case. He said Pakistani expatriates are an asset to the country.
The federal minister directed the FIA to formulate a comprehensive policy to help Pakistanis abroad if they’re subjected to any illegal treatment abroad.
