MULTAN: (Dunya News) – Protest was on Sunday held against the Metro Bus project and the protesters broke the railing fencing the track of the metro bus. The protesters said that no flyovers or service roads were constructed along the track nor were the roads widened due to which the traffic will face trouble in the city, reported Dunya News.

Protesting at the Madni Chowk in Multan, the protesters raised slogans against the project and broke its fences. They said that the roads along the track weren’t widened nor were any flyovers or service roads constructed due to which the citizens will have to face troubles while driving on the roads.

The protesters demanded removal of the project from Madni Chowk and blocked the road lighting the tyres. However, Assistance Commissioner (AC) Multan assured them of resolving the issue after which the protesters dispersed.
