Summary Locals' state that those drowned could have been saved if rescue teams had reached on time.

RAHIM YAR KHAN (Dunya News) – Atleast seven people drowned as tractor-trolley plunged into Abasia canal near Khanpur in Rahim Yar Khan on Sunday.

Two of the people swam out under self-help while rescue operation is underway to evacuate the other five.

Police and a large number of people gather on the spot on getting information of the incident.

The drowned were identified by the name of Safdar, Khadim, Dilawar, Imdad Hussain and Muhammad Asif.

Locals’ state that those drowned could have been saved if rescue teams had reached on time.
