Mian Iftikhar urges on transparent distribution of aid

Khyber-Pukhtunkhwa Information minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain said that all infrastructure of Khyber-Pukhtunkhwa was swept away by water.Mian Iftikhar was talking to the media in Islamabad after the donors conference. Iftikhar informed that the participants of the conference assured him of their support to Khyber-Pukhtunkhwa. He reiterated that the distribution of aid will be transparent.Iftikhar informed that a provincial relief commission has been established to help the victims. He added that as many as 24 districts of the province have been affected. Iftikhar added the rehabilitation of people would be a great responsibility on the government.Iftikhar was of the view that terrorism could pick up again if aid was not delivered to the needy people. He appraised the response of the UN towards the flood victims.
