Residents of Attock were protesting against unabated loadshedding in the city. Protesters set ablaze Wapda office following clashes with police. The protesters blocked the GT road near Haji Shah Larancepur and the protesters also blocked part of the Peshawar Motorway, thus the road link between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab was cut-off.The protesters condemned the government for showing neglect towards the crisis. They stressed that the government should utilize the resources to the fullest and also consider utilization of alternate source of energy production to meet the demand of energy in the country. Police also baton-charged the protesters that left several people injured.
