KARACHI (Dunya News) – Employees of education department of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) have started protesting as after allegations of ghost employees began to emerge on Friday. Pays of the employees have been frozen due to which the employees have decided to stage a strike and block university road, reported Dunya News.
KMC employees have been protesting for 3 months against non-payment of their dues and shouted slogans against authorities today on University Road after blocking the road in front of the civic centre.
The road blockage caused extreme traffic jam due to which many ambulances were stuck. Transporters also had a tough time trying to cross the passage.
