ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) secretary general Jahangir Tareen on Friday has said that he is being dragged into divorce matter of Imran Khan and Reham for no reason.
He denounced speculation regarding his involvement in any way in an exclusive talk with Dunya News.
He said that there is no productive purpose behind involving him in a matter that is personal to two ex-partners. Mufti Saeed, cleric who officiated the Khan marriage on January 8 said that he would protect divorce matter of PTI chairman. At least Rs 1 lac alimony was agreed to by the ex-partners at the time of nikkah, he added.

Tareen said that he is in no way connected to the news that surfaced today.
Sources privy to the party leader said that concerned people had given up efforts to bridge gap between Imran Khan and wife at least ten days ago. It was also told that Reham would acquire assets worth at least Rs 18 crore following the divorce.
It should be mentioned here that the divorce news has surfaced a day before local body (LB) polls in Punjab. Political analysts have endorsed diverse stances in the matter with relation to the LB elections.
