Summary Asad Manzoor of Hamid Khan group won the seat of Secretary Bar Association
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Barrister Ali Zafar of Asma Jehangir group has won the Supreme Court Bar elections by getting 1172 votes on Thursday. Secretary Supreme Court seat has been won by Hamid Khan group, reported Dunya News.
Candidates of Asma Jahangir group and Hamid Khan group tightly contested the election of the Supreme Court Bar Association. According to final results, Barrister Ali Zafar of Asma group took 1172 votes and became President of the bar. His opponent Kalim Khurshid took 915 votes.
Asad Manzoor of Hamid Khan group won the seat of Secretary Bar Association. Atif Bajwa came second with 30 votes.
