Summary Just 2 days left to file tax returns but only 27% have filed the returns so far according to sources
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Despite extension of one month given by Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), only 27% of the filers have filed tax returns so far while the deadline is just 2 days away, reported Dunya News.
According to sources, only 275,000 people have filed the tax returns so far whereas the last date to file returns is October 31. The total number of tax-filers was 972,000 in the financial year 2013-14.
If the current situation persists, deadline for filing the tax returns will be extended further, claimed the sources.
