Handcuffs shortage: police tie suspects' hands with ropes
Lahore police arrested hundreds of pillion riding ban violators on Ashura
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore police fell short of handcuffs on Saturday for pillion riders and presented them in court with their hands tied with ropes.
Lahore police did a great job on the occasion of Ashura by providing security and making sure the safely of the mourners. Pillion riding was banned in the city for the day and hundreds of those who violated it were arrested.
Duty Magistrate ordered police to release the pillion riders after taking security bonds of worth 50 thousand rupees from them.
