ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has got two more aircrafts on lease on Thursday, Dunya News reported.
Spokesperson of PIA told media that the new aircrafts are Airbus A320 and Boeing 777 and the aircrafts will be added to the fleet of the national airline within next week, which will make the number of aircrafts owned by PIA, 37.
The spokesperson said that the new Boeing plane will be used for international flights, while the Airbus will be used for the local flights. He said that both of the new aircrafts will consume less fuel as compared to the old ones which will help PIA save millions of rupees.
