Prices of petroleum products likely to go up by Rs 2-4 from Nov 1

Summary According to experts, the rates are being revised due to the additional GST.

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Prices of petroleum products are likely to go up by Rs 2-4 from 1st of November, Dunya News reported.

As per details, price of petrol is expected to increase by Rs 2.50 per liter, high octane Rs 4, kerosene oil Rs 2.10, light speed diesel Rs 1.80 and high speed diesel price Rs 2.5 per liter.

On the other hand, the Sui Northern Gas Company has also requested the the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) to increase gas tariff by Rs 196.84 per MMBTU.

During case hearing, the SNGPL authorities informed Ogra that the company suffered 82.93 billion rupees loss in the last three years, thus, tariff should be raised to adjust the losses.
