(Web Desk/ Dunya News) - Wendy Tsao, from Canada’s city Vancouver, has given flashy Bratz dolls a dramatic make-over, transforming them into inspirational women, because she things young girls need better role models.

For her ‘Mighty Dolls’ project, Tsao has chosen some of the world s most influential women in which youngest Nobel Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai is also included.

Malala, who has been immortalised by Wendy Tsao as an alternative Bratz doll, has been turned into a tiny model painted red and without any thick makeup.

Malala Yousafzai is a passionate advocate of girls  education who survived a brutal Taliban gun attack in 2012. She has been based in England with her family ever since, continuing both her education and activism. She had received a host of awards, standing ovations and plaudits from the United Nations to Buckingham Palace.

“These women inspired me. I really admire the women that I featured in my mighty dolls, for what they did or achieved and continue to do,” said Tsao as reported by Daily Mail.

“And they should be role models instead of, or at least, alongside the products of Disney and Hollywood,” she said.

“Perhaps a child can’t appreciate these role models, because these women are famous adults. Maybe we need to show children that these remarkable women were once children too and that everyone has a potential,” she continued to say.

Alongside Malala her recreations include some other prominent women listed below:

Author J.K. Rowling

Canadian astronaut Roberta Bondar

Scientist Jane Goodall

Author and activist Waris Dirie

Artist Frida Kahlo
