Summary PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz and Defence Minister Khawaja Asif & Ahsan Iqbal took to Twitter
LAHORE (WebDesk) - The NA-122 by-election had from the start gripped Lahore in a political frenzy that only intensified as the polling day neared. The ensuing political drama affliated with the background story of NA-122 constituency only added fuel to the already lit fire. The general elections of 2013 followed by the later proven accusations of massive rigging by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the subsequent 4 months of protests in Islamabad had already built up the repute for NA-122 repolling. Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) opted their previous candidate Ayaz Sadiq, while PTI entered with a new candidate Aleem Khan.
As the unofficial results poured in, PML-N supporters political fervor grew by the minute culminating in a final rejoicement as they saw their candidate touch success. Their jubilant mood on PML-N s success was clearly evident in the streets. However it was the social media website Twitter which properly captured the excited sentiments of their leaders as well as their supporters.
PML-N workers, supporters and leaders poured in their celebratory and sometimes quirky statements as they proudly flaunted the victory of their party.

A frequent user who tweets regularly on the developing political scenarios, PML-N s Maryam Nawaz tweeted one of the infamous slogans of her party while mimicking the slogan of her opponents in her party s favor.
