The Peshawar High Court (PHC) has demanded an explanation from the Deputy Attorney-General of Pakistan (DAG) regarding the extension in tenure of Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani.In this regard a writ petition was filed by Shahid Orakzai on July 28. Peshawar High Court judge Justice Mazhar Alam made remarks that since no federal representative was present during the hearing thus DAG of Pakistan should submit a statement about the case within the next fifteen days.
