A meeting in connection with the flood protection was presided over by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah at Kot Durrani Garhiyasin. The Chief Minister while talking to newsmen at Kot Durani said that all out efforts were made to face the emergency situation of flood and the necessary precautions and preventive measures were taken and the strategy was made to overcome the problem of flood. He claimed that Sindh Government was determined to save all the big cities and small towns from danger of flood and in this regard all the resources were adopted to face the flood threat. Replying to a question, the Sindh Chief Minister denied of giving the cut in Tori protective embankment officially. The big breach in Tori Bund was suddenly occurred naturally after raising the pressure of flood water, he added.He said that all the affected people were taken out from Ghouspur and other areas came under the flood and now there was no any affected persons available at the flood affected areas so far.
