LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Former Governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar has on Tuesday demanded immediate deployment of Rangers in NA-122 in order to cease hostilities between the contesting parties. He alleged that another Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) worker has been killed, reported Dunya News.

Holding a press conference at Chairman Secretariat Lahore, Chaudhry Sarwar said that a PTI worker was killed. He said that PTI workers were attacked and his car was also attacked by Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) workers. He said that PTI workers were injured. “PML-N is in panic. First PTI worker Ghaffar Gujjar was killed and now Muhammad Akbar”, said Sarwar.

Demanding notice from IG and DIG Punjab of the killings of workers, Chaudhry Sarwar asked them to stop police from interference. He alleged police of harassing PTI workers in connivance with PML-N workers.

Sarwar also demanded ECP to deploy Rangers on the polling stations on the election-day so that the situation remains under control. The former Governor Punjab said that PTI will avenge its workers’ deaths with votes on October 11.
