Summary PML-N obtained the support of various religious groups and minorities for NA-122 by-election
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) on Monday secured the religious groups and minorities’ support in NA-122 by-election. Scholars from various schools of thought met PML-N leader Hamza Shahbaz and assured him of their support, reported Dunya News.
Hamza Shahbaz said that the ‘politics of allegations’ will suffer a defeat on October 11 while Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that it will be a contest of allegations and performance on October 11.
Various religious scholars and minorities’ leaders met Hamza Shahbaz to assure him of their support. Talking to media on this occasion, Hamza said that Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan wasted Pakistan’s 126 days.
In his verbal attack on PTI, Saad Rafique said that PML-N contests the election on the basis of performance while PTI knows ‘politics of allegations’ only. He said that he will respond to Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) legal notices for attending election campaign in NA-122.
