Zookeeper attacked by lion in Bahawalpur
The zookeeper entered the lion enclosure to shift cubs to another room.
(Web Desk) – A zookeeper was badly injured when two lions attacked him after he entered the lion enclosure at a zoo in Bahalwpur on Saturday.
The incident happened when the zookeeper identified as Fayyaz reportedly entered the enclosure to shift the cubs to another room.
According to witnesses, the lion and lioness bit and scratched the zookeeper. The visitors hurled stones at them to rescue Fayyaz.
He was shifted to a local hospital for treatment.
