KARACHI (Dunya News) – The prevalent heat of at least 40° Celsius intensity in the largest metropolis on Friday caused at least 7 more people suffer from heatstroke and end up in hospitals, raising the toll of past 2 days to 16, Dunya News reported.

The Metrological department has forecasted a reduction in heat intensity starting from tomorrow (Saturday).

The temperature is on the rise in Lahore as well as the temperature intensifies during the day time. The weather remained dry in Islamabad and Rawalpindi as well.

Lasbela and Nawabshah remained the cities with warmest temperature of 43°C today. The Met department said this heat wave can go on for another couple of days.
