NEW YORK (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif held a meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry on Sunday evening in New York on sidelines of the UN General Assembly session.
The Prime Minister raised the issue of the ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LoC) and the Working Boundary during his meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry. The situation in Afghanistan also figured prominently during the meeting.
The US secretary of state appreciated the operation Zarb-Azb as PM Nawaz briefed him about its achievements. Sartaj Aziz, Dr Maleeha Lodhi and Tariq Fatemi were also present during the meeting.
