Four die as train smashes into rickshaw at open crossing in Lahore

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Atleast four people including two women and a minor got killed when a speeding train hit a motorcycle rickshaw in Ferozwala area of Lahore today (Sunday).

According to details, Tahir Mehmood was going towards his village with his wife Zahida, son Ubaid and mother-in-law in a rickshaw when the train going to Lahore from Rawalpindi smashed in the vehicle.

All the family members died on the spot.

Local people stated that the accident happened as the gate was open and the railway officials were not present on duty to close it.
