Summary Strict action is being taken against forceful hide collection during Eid-ul-Azha
KARACHI (Web Desk) – Rangers personnel have arrested 18 suspects for collecting hides of sacrificial animals forcefully in Landhi area of Karachi on Friday.
According to sources, the suspects were collecting hides without any permission letter in the city.
The state radio has reported that the arrested persons are workers of Kidmat-e-Khalq Foundation (KKF).
The authorities have imposed a complete ban on collection of skins of the sacrificial animals during Eid-ul Azha without the government’s permission. Circulation of pamphlets before the slaughtering, use of loudspeakers and door-to-door collection is strictly prohibited.
