Summary At least 8 terrorists don't appear to be Pakistanis, the statement said
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar on Sunday expressed anger over making public the profiles of identified terrorists involved in the Badaber airbase attack, Dunya News reported.
According to Interior Ministry spokesperson, an investigation has been ordered to find out who leaked the profiles, adding that the leak can negatively impact the ongoing investigation.
In a statement issued by Interior Ministry spokesperson, it was stated that terrorists had been identified the day the incident took place but this information was withheld on purpose owing to the sensitivity of the matter.
The spokesperson said that it appears the sharing of information between institutions caused the premature sharing of this information which, the statement said, should never have happened.
The statement also said that as per the evidence and records, at least 8 terrorists appear to be foreigners. It said that more time is required to determine their nationalities.
