Master plan of Thar power plant worth Rs 12.92 billion still incomplete

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Dunya Kamran Khan Kay Sath had originally brought the corruption of Sindh government to surface as host Kamran Khan revealed that the master plan of Thar cool power plant is still incomplete despite passage of years.
He said that the estimated cost of water supply and sewerage plan of Thar plant has escalated to Rs 42 billion from Rs 12.92 billion and that the contracts of as many as three projects were given to the favorite companies.
Three times feasibility and PC1 approvals were given to water projects, he disclosed.
Moreover, National Acountibility Bureau (NAB) has summoned record from Sindh’s water and power department.
