Summary Court has sought reply from police and has cancelled arrest warrants for DJ Butt
LAHORE (Dunya News) – DJ Butt submitted an application to plead for acquittal from his case on Tuesday. He said that other participants of sit-in such as Imran Khan and Tahir ul Qadri had not been arrested, reported Dunya News.
DJ Butt has said that he wasn’t the only one who had taken part in the sit-sin adding that Imran Khan and Tahir ul Qadri had not been arrested for their participation. During the hearing of the case, lawyer of DJ Butt said that his client is being persecuted unfairly adding that a total of 15 other political leaders had been accused in cases yet no action had been taken against them.
It is pertinent to mention here that DJ Butt is facing trial due to his violation of article 144 (wrong usage of loud speaker). Court has sought reply from police and has cancelled arrest warrants for DJ Butt. The court has adjourned till October 6.
