ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar on Tuesday said that involving security institutions in irrelevant matters is unwise adding that accountability carried out by Rangers is not in fold of the law, Dunya News reported.
Reacting to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s demand to invite Rangers to oversee the accountability process, Nisar said inviting army or Rangers for irrelevant task only to score points is akin to making these institutions controversial.
He said this freedom should be within bounds of law and constitution, adding that everyone has acknowledged army’s performance and sacrifices.
