At least 47 people were killed, with several others injured in ongoing violence across Karachi after assassination of the Raza Haider.As many as 33 vehicles set ablaze in different areas of Karachi. People are stranded on roads as public transport has stopped functioning. Petrol pumps around the city have also closed down. Aerial firing was also reported in different parts. Markets have been closed down in Manzoor Colony, Saddar town. Markets also closed down in Hyderabad in wake of MPAs killing. Severe tensions, panic and fear gripped Karachi. All the education institutions will be closed down in Karachi today. MQM has also announced a three day mourning in Karachi.
