An investigation report about Cotecna reference was submitted to the Accountability Court Rawalpindi. Additional Prosecutor NAB Jamil Awan argued that the Accountability Court cannot issue warrants to summon foreign nationals.During the proceeding Jamil Awan informed that pre-shipment contract was signed in Geneva while the transfer of money was carried via bank account in Swiss Bank. The Ministry of Law and Justice clarified to the Foreign Ministry that foreigners cannot be summoned by the Accountability Courts. The reference was adjourned till August 6.
