Summary 34 business professions presented suggestions to PM; PM listened to all the suggestions carefully

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – The inside story of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s meeting with the traders has on Friday surfaced. Business professionals belonging to 34 different fields presented their suggestions to the PM who listened to all the suggestions very carefully, reported Dunya News.

The traders demanded devaluation of Pakistani rupee’s value but the PM rejected this suggestion. Refund of 15 billion rupees was also demanded which was granted in the form of 21,000 cheques. The traders also demanded reforms in government’s textile policy but the government demanded some time for these reforms.

Tax system was recommended to be improved but Finance Minister Ishaq Dar didn’t say a word on the subject. The traders also demanded increasing the exports from 25 billion dollars. Prime Minister directed the ministers to devise policies for this purpose.

When the traders continued to present their complaints, PM directed the ministers to continue meeting with the traders. The traders also demanded another meeting with the PM which was accepted.

Moreover, forming a package for export industry was also demanded. PM also directed the relevant ministry to devise this policy.
