Summary Pakistani delegation led by DG Rangers Major General Aamir farooq Burki met Indian Interior Minister
NEW DELHI: (Dunya News) – Pakistani delegation on India visit led by Director General (DG) Rangers Major General Aamir Farooq Burki on Friday met Indian Interior Minister Rajnath Singh. 15-member Pakistani delegation is on visit to India these days, reported Dunya News.
According to the details, the meeting was also attended by the officials of Indian Border Security Force. This is the first high-level contact between the two countries after the cancellation of Foreign Advisor level talks last month. Border tensions, cross-border smuggling and handing over of the people mistakenly crossing borders were discussed in the meeting.
The meetings of Pakistani delegation with the Indian officials will continue till September 12 while border tensions will remain the top priority. India has been constantly violating the ceasefire agreement since the cancellation of talks between the Foreign Advisors of the two countries on August 22.
