Summary Progress of Apex committees and law and order situation of the country was reviewed in meeting

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Expressing dissatisfaction over progress on implementation of National Action Plan (NAP), PM Nawaz said that certain parts of the plan have been implemented yet several parts have been neglected. The PM warned over complacency against terrorism.

A meeting presided by the PM was held in the capital in which progress of Apex committees and law and order situation of the country was reviewed. PM Nawaz expressed reservations over progress made on implementing NAP. Nawaz Sharif said that while some parts of NAP are being implemented, most parts of the plan have not been implemented in spirit.

PM Nawaz said that the meeting being held on counter-terrorism is of importance adding that it will be fruitful for progress on the national strategy.

The meeting chaired by the Prime Minister, was attended by Army Chief, DG ISI Lt Gen Rizwan Akhtar, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Khawaja Mohammad Asif, Ishaq Dar, Chief Ministers of four provinces, CM Gilgit-Baltistan, CM Azad Kashmir, Chairman NADRA and DG Intelligence Bureau (IB) among other high level officials.
